Mission

The EDBFA is a non-profit organization that promotes dragon boat racing and its multicultural celebration in the Greater Edmonton Area.

 Association Objectives

  1. To hold one or more dragon boat festivals per year at locations in and around the Greater Edmonton Area
  2. To support development of the sport by providing equipment, instruction and/or supervision so that paddlers can participate in safe and fun practices at locations in and around the Greater Edmonton Area
  3. To showcase Asian culture and promote multiculturalism
  4. To create awareness that anyone can participate in this great sport
